Yes I do 🙂 to BOTH my beginner and advanced clients actually–with or withOUT a jumprope. What I mean is beginners who have a little more weight on them to lose can still get the benefits of jumproping by doing what I call “Invisible Jump Rope”(no jump Rope needed ;), which simulates the movement of jump roping(taking 1 foot step forward while stabilizing back leg and making circles with your arms as if turning the rope). So they are actually not “jumping” but they are still acting as if they are turning the rope and moving with their legs keeping their heart rate up. This is good for clients who may have knee or lower back issue, and those who are not fit enough to jump around yet, but still can get the caloric-burnin’ cardio and agility benefits of Jump Roping 😉
I incorporate it mainly between weight training exercises so they can tone up/burn fat and increase endurance WHILE developing lean muscles all over their body 😀
