There are times when I wish I could get my message out to more people. I realize that marketing is very important to business success, but I am easily distracted by my desire to do research and grow my knowledge and skills. I see so many people that I could help improve everyday. Walking with obvious discomfort or training with incorrect technique or program design. I can’t reach them all, but my “save the world” side wishes I could. I kind of get a feeling that I my skills are being wasted sometimes. But when I do feel that way, I try to refocus my marketing for a whiie and try to take satisfaction in my work with clients who are really changing their lives.
Hello Beverly Hosford, MA,
I embraced the slow time to gain more certifications and throw myself into studies which are now paying off huge to help the clients who came my way. I like to go with the flow and let word of mouth do its thing. I also concentrate on throwing all my attention into helping the clients I have at the time, which gets me through any stuck feeling. There is much to be said for living in the moment.

Hi Beverly, I was in the same boat in my fitness career last year. Mines was marketing, didn’t know what else to say in my messages and didn’t have the right systems in place that can help me grow, Then I hire a business coach and started to make changes in my business. I created Core Values, Mission Statement (purpose) and my 5 year,3 year,1 year vision. So I started created goals and projects, with estimated date, with an actual completion date, and it started to give me a new insight on my business, cause I was ready to close the doors on something I love to do. I don’t know if you heard of NPE, but here’s a link: www.netprofitexplosion.com
My best wishes!
