Under the definition that Karin posted, I will have to agree that it is a sport. But, you have to keep in mind that it is not a clean sport because of all the drugs and chemicals that are been used (or abused) by the competitors. Not a great example to follow. I have more respect for those bodybuilders who are in this naturally and stay away from drug use, than those who devote themselves in perfecting the way of drug use in order to achieve their goals. Then again, pool table competitions, NASCAR driving, archery, pistol shooting, bowling and other activities that really don’t focused primarily on the improvement of the body (but more on the skill), are also considered sports under the definition.
