do i need a copyright licence to play music in my class ADVERTISEMENT 160 viewsOctober 17, 2014 0 April October 17, 2014 0 Comments I am soon to be certified GFI and wanted to know if I need a blanket copyright license to use music in my classes? I will be teaching on my own but at a studio space. 2 Answers ActiveVotedNewestOldest 0 Nancy7 Posted 0 Comments Ask the studio if they have ASCAP and / or BMI and / or SEASAC. Any time there’s a public performance of music, and a Group-ex class counts as that, there needs to be a license for playing the music.
