Shawn, go for it. It is highly recommended by many people who are successful in social media. Post links to the video blog in your regular blog, on facebook, here, linkedin, twitter, google+, wherever you are signed up and put as many tags on it as you can. The search potential is huge. I haven’t started yet, but have been thinking about how to get myself set up. Hopefully I will have everything ready to go by mid-January.
I am no SEO expert in the slightest, and I had no idea that video blogs drew higher hits. Although I do not not personally video blog, I do have a few videos on YouTube that have information and screenshots about my gym software – I do not know if this would be considered a blog though…
Did you start video blogging?
Personally, I haven’t. But it seems to be a good method to attract clientele and increase brand awareness. It can personalize your product or service, shows your passion and helps you find a bigger audience. Plus it is fairly easy to produce.
