Yes. I change depending on the time of year because a gym can be seasonal work.
Summers- because the weather is great and people want to be outside I go for $40.00 a session. I have less clients over the summer, earn less but I work less. It gives me time to take additional schooling and take a break from the year.
Over Fall, Winter and Spring I go
23+ sessions 48.00
17-22 sessions 55.00
13-16 sessions 60.00
9-12 sessions 65.00
4-8 sessions 70.00
1-3 sessions 75.00
As a new trainer, I am already extremely affordable. Due to 1) an increase in people desiring personal training at my gym and 2) my own interest in getting clients who are committed, my rates will go up by 25-50% in March, which actually sounds like a lot, but it’s actually still the lowest pricing in town. I will be charging the same that the local university charges their students/faculty/members.
