Designing an exercise program for myotonic dystrophy type 2

I have a client who has myotonic dystrophy type 2 (a form of muscular dystrophy). She is 45 years old and is “ok” in the cardio area. She wants to increase the intensity of her muscular endurance workouts and has enlisted my help. Are there any exercises/ workouts that would be especially good for my client?
Depending on her condition, I would stick to stability and strength endurance exercises. stuff like chest press on a stability ball, squats on an unstable surface, and try to combine dynamic movements with the strengthening exercises. things like this can help her maintain her lean body mass and keep full functionality of her body as well.
