Our residents like to sit in a chair and put their feet on the vibration machine to help their leg circulation. Im wondering if there are any resources on ABSOLUTE contraindications?

Hello Melanie O”Dell,
The absolute contraindications would come from doctors and physical therapists who know the person’s medical history. I would check with doctors for safety reasons. Here are two links to help get you started with your research, also:

You could check research publications on Google Scholar and see if there’s any info there. I know there’s been a fair amount of research on vibration training, but not sure in an elderly population. Vibration training is generally mild enough that it won’t be a potential risk.
