after 10 years, the chances are slim that there is a way to re-certify without retaking it but you need to check that with NFPT directly.
I agree with the others – check in with the NFPT about that. Ten years sounds like a problem though. Hopefully it works out for you.
If you are looking to re-enter the workforce, it might be nice to take a certification as a refresher anyway.
