Client Goals Attained
I leave it up to the client. I always do a final assessment, ask for a testimonial and see what they want to do.
I find that most clients who are happy with their results, have already thought about their next challenge and are ready to see where their training can help.
Others are happy with what they have achieved and continue on their way. I usually stay in touch with these clients and we tweak their program every month of so, so they’ll continue to be challenged and see results.
This is a great problem to have!
Perhaps you should suggest sports conditioning of some sort.
I understand that he/she has met their goal, however, we are also educating our clients.
For me this would be an ideal opportunity to highlight the benefits of a periodized routine. Periodized fitness programming works for professional athletes. It might be a good idea to utilize it with your client.
Best to you.
Hi Kurt. In my opinion, when a client’s goals have changed (for what ever reason) then, my program needs to change with them. Our training programs should be ‘fluid’ and able to change along with our clients. Congrats on your client’s progress!!!
