It really depends, of course, on your clients’ goals and fitness levels. However, there are limitless ideas for cardio training in the home!
Here are a few ideas– and when done without rest in between, some of these put together will produce a great cardio, and even strength benefit:
–Stairs or a Step
–Weight training (compound upper and lower body moves get the heart-rate up and provide both a cardio and strength workout. Bonus–two for one!)
–Squat and lunge jumps (can be modified)
–Burpees (any modification)
ALL of these ideas can be used with modifications for almost every fitness level. I have an in-home training business and have to find creative ways not only to give a good cardio/strength workout, but also to modify any activity for clients who have orthopedic issues.
Hope these help you!
