Can i become CES (nasm/tbmm) within 3 months?
Hi, My cpt certification expires in August next year so i want to get my CEU before march 2018 while im having semester break. Im currently a student and i have taken module such as anatomy, physical conditioning for health and sports, postural assessment and etc. My cpt certification expires in August next year so i want to get my CEU before march 2018 and my new semester starts. Initially, my plan was to purchase nasm-ces but i there is 2 options (US and Canada only) for country selection in the billing address sections. I’ve tried to contact them through fb, emails and online advisers. However, they replied me in facebook saying that i can’t purchase and the international team will sign up for me. 3 days passed and i havent got their reply so i searched other organisation that provides CES and i found tbmm. I want to know the average time taken by people to complete NASM and TBMM. Is it possible to complete within 3months? I would like to hear some advice from you all. Thank you for reading my question!
I think everyone takes their own amount of time to study for things. Facts in your favor = you’ve already passed on CPT exam and you’ve had some college courses on the topic.
If you have a fixed deadline, i.e. the start of school and the expiration date of your PT, that might give you the incentive to put in the time you need.
It took me longer than that for my CPT, but I only spent 10 hours a week studying on top of a full-time job, and I didn’t have a specific deadline. But I passed a much bigger exam (the CPA exam for my state) with only 3 months to study and working full-time as a staff accountant. But for that, I had bigger motivation (specific deadline and a bonus from my employer if I passed on the first try). For me, a deadline worked wonders, I paced myself, and nailed the exam. The key is to know how motivated you are, and whether you are disciplined enough to set aside the time to study.
