Can any Female Fitness Enthusiast tell me if they would join a
“Up-Scale, State-of-the-art” all Women’s Fitness Center, (opposed to a mixed gender facility, and PLEASE GIVE REASONS YOU PREFER A WOMEN’S ONLY FACILITY, OVER MIXED GENDER FACILITIES) complete with Smoothie Bar, Retail Sales of top Brand Women’s Fitness attire, Country Club Style Fashioned Locker Room, The best of the best exercise equipment, Personal Trainers, and the best line of Cardiovascular Equipment?
Hi Shawn,
As a fitness enthusiast and a woman…I would sign up for an all women’s gym and I am somebody that does a mix of cardio and weight training.
Also, I am involved with a website called groupfitlive.com. Our target market is women between the ages of 20-55. I bet a lot of them would also like the idea of the all women’s gym and I think you could offer the women that are members at your facility this additional service and they would LOVE IT!

Hi Shawn,
I can tell you as an employee of a software company that works closely with women only gyms that this concept is very popular. If you need help getting started or would like to get some advice from some of these gyms, please reach out to me.
Hope this helps,
Hi Shawn,
I used to belong to an all women’s fitness facility when I lived in Boston (1990s). However, although I enjoyed it very much, my reason for joining it was because it was convenient–right across the street from where I worked. So, you may get all different reasons for joining, but perhaps not just because it is all women. Hopefully you can do some market research in the area you are thinking of, and compile information on the demographics there.
Good luck to you in your venture!
Christine
I agree with Ariandne, I wouldn’t go out of my way to join a Women’s Only facility. It would be more about the classes offered and instructors they contracted with.
Good luck,
Jocelyn Martin
