No, AFAA does allow pre-approved courses that are workshops and their online courses, workshops, and home studies. I think they do some college but no other distant learning. The cheapest way to get CEUs for AFAA is their distance learning durning APEX. It costs $75 for 15 CEUs and its online. Also, it’s required you have at least 1 AFAA workshop, home study, or distant learning.

Not too long ago they were asking for our opinion on specialty certifications and were quite vocal about their opinion.
