Hi Rachel! Lack of support from loved ones is a huge obstacle when trying to make a lifestyle change such as eating healthier. Educating your client about her nutrition needs and helping her to fully understand them would be my first step. My next step would be to offer a higher level of support and set in place a meal plan, motivation, and a plan for her to follow her plan again when she gets off track. Not having support from loved ones is difficult, but I’d arm her with positivity and teach her how to deflect negativity with positivity and choose the pain of discipline over the pain of regret. Chances are once she starts getting results her loved ones will give her support and even jump on board with her. Hope this helps!
