Hello M K,
There is so much information out there. I also like the sources already presented. The best site is different for everyone; choose the one that works for you. Here are some more to check out:
Please remember to take into account the food handling safety factors.
Have fun absorbing your research.
I’m a fan of the website Karin suggested and would also recommend you check it out if you haven’t already.
Is there anything in particular you’re looking for with regard to nutrition? Or are you just interested in finding a good resource for the subject in general?
If you get the chance, let me know your thoughts on the questions above. Perhaps I could refer you to some specific sites.
If you haven’t recently explored the wide range of articles here on IDEA I encourage you to do so. Here are a few links for what I’m talking about:
Hi M K,
I usually recommend the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics http://www.eatright.org/public/.
Attending a talk by Roberta H. Anding at an IDEA conference, she suggested this for peer reviewed articles.
Else I draw information from the Center of Science in the Public Interest but their web site is not quite as accessible.
I am anxious to see what my fellow trainers have to say. With nutrition sites, it’s a jungle out there, and it is difficult to find information that has not been obtained courtesy of the company that stands to profit from it.
