Home-based workouts are perfect for training most populations using total body weight exercises. However, I suggest additional items such as a non-slip mat, a large 55 cm stability ball, small weighted balls, Thera-band exercise bands and tubing in various strengths, a foam roller, yoga block and gliders. If available, visualize a non-obstructed wall, a strong kitchen chair, and stairs as additional props. If you have access to a solid door + sturdy door frame to support the TRX – with enough clear floor space to exercise – then suspension training opens up an entire world of opportunities. These are just a few ideas for fun to use, lightweight and easy to transport choices which will enhance your home-based personal training programs.
Considering all the above plus with your creativity and client-appropriate exercise selection, the sky is the limit!!
