I know a lot of trainers and fitness instructors who focus on training so many clients, that they ignore their own personal need to stay healthy and excited about teaching/training. It would be great to know what other fitness professionals do to stay excited and energized about working with their clients.
I am a professional teacher as well as personal trainer so I understand this question well. I always try to experiment with new ways to achieve results. I think of myself as a scientist in a lab putting myself through tests that I may use with clients. More recently I began using tires as part of my own workouts and once I felt comfortable with the routine, I began introducing the workouts to my clients.
