Hi Garrett. I’m not sure that we can ever be 100% satisfied with our fitness. For most of us, there is always something that can be improved upon. That being said, ‘fitness’ is a relative state and so you have to consider where your fitness level is at any particular point in time, relative to where it was. This is the approach that I always advise my clients to take in looking at their fitness, and it’s how I view my own. So, while I may not be 100% satisfied, I am VERY HAPPY with where I am on a fitness scale. I will continue to ‘maintain’ and take steps to improve, but am NOT striving for perfection.
I AM 100% SATISFIED!!! Everyday I see people who are 100% dissatisfied with their fitness and doing little about it. I just never want to be there. I’m not in peak physical condition (are we ever?) but I am in the best shape I have been this year. I am motivated and improving daily, with few barriers to my goals. I may not be physically back to 100%,. yet… but I’m 100% satisfied with were I’m at right now!
