are you looking to teach classes? In that case, you should search the area for places that cater to seniors such as independent and assisted living facilities or health clubs. Country clubs and apartment complexes may also an option.
What type of classes are you looking for? I get the sense that you are looking for continuing education classes. You could check the websites of various CEC providers for upcoming classes in your area. (Like AEA, ACE, etc.)
I teach a series of aquatic exercise class CECs for certified instructors. Beyond Basic H2O and HIH2O (high intensity aquatic exercise) on the Big Island of Hawaii. Instructors can take a Continuing Education Vacation (tax deductible as long as you adhere to the tax code). I do occasionally travel to the contiguous 48 when a fitness center wants to sponsor my CEC programs.
You might try contacting local Fitness Centers/YMCA/Parks and Rec to see if they have any instructor courses coming up.
If you are looking for places to teach I would suggest trying the Y. There is one in Helena. The Y does not pay very well, but it can be a good place to get experience, if you are new, and it tends to serve populations that need what we have to offer. And you get to meet others who are in the field, which is nice.
If you are looking for workshops here is a nice tool that will let you find ACE workshops throughout the country by area. I don’t know with whom you are certified, but if it is not ACE you could check the web site of your certifier and see if they list CEC possibilities near you.
