Are AED’s required in studio spaces
Yes. Here is a link that might help you:

I had a mobile Personal Training business in Chicago for many years before I sold it and AEDs were required at every facility I went to workout or instruct a class.
As of the last time I checked for this information I found that fourteen states require AEDs in health clubs, though there may be an exemption for small studios. They are: Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Oregon and Rhode Island. The District of Columbia requires them in recreational facilities.
The number may have changed since I last checked, but you should double check with your state government. Most states also have laws to protect people who use an AED in an attempt to save someone’s life. Some require the user to have been trained to use an AED. I find that to be ridiciulous as all of the AEDs that I have ever seen could be used by a five year old. The units use an audio program that walks you through using it.
