My favorites are Yoga and Spinning because of the mind-body connection I encourage with those classes.
There are several styles of Yoga out there, many of them excellent. It can be relaxing, great exercise, positive social interaction, etc. I enjoy taking Yoga classes for so many reasons, but most of all the peace, calmness, and life I feel after a session.
I also encourage mind-body in my Spinning classes. Using other energies (in this case, the music) to fuel yourself. Whether it motivates, inspires, or paces you. I also try to “paint” a lot of pictures, as far as scenery, hills, races. You can take quite a trip in one hour.
I will never, ever encourage anything to do with eating. Eating tied to emotions leads to severe psychological issues resulting in poor health. Typically every fat loss client I have experiences this in at least one respect.
