But at this point in time, I have a standard answer for stress management: MELT. The MELT techniques have a calming effect on the stress reflex, and many students in my classes report that their sleep improves as a result of doing those exercises regularly.
Exercises? I’d say anything that safe and an enjoyable alternative to whatever their typical gym routine might look like.
Other than that, I’ve found that getting in a biweekly massage from a quality massage therapist helps me keep the physical repercussions of stress to a minimum.
