Apps for personal trainers to track clients
I am looking for apps for the iPod touch to track my personal training clients’ progress. It would be nice to just carry around my iPod rather than a file folder & clipboard. I am NOT looking for apps that I would recommend to clients to keep track of their own progress/workouts. Any thoughts? Thank you.
I found an awesome resource at www.onlinefitnessstracker.com . Choose the PRO account and you can add all your clients profiles and stats, build their workouts and have them log everything on their mobile iphone or Android app. You can also access all of your clients info and even build and send them their workout programs on your phone. Data is backed up online and accessible anywhere. This has saved me soooo much time with the easy to use drag and drop workout builder. Worth every penny! Even has a free 30 Day Trial offer. Great to use as an additional revenue stream as you can also train clients online. Highly recommend!!!
Try an app that just launched called community sprint. It allows to interact with all your clients collectively or individually through SMS, photo or messaging real time no matter where they are in the planet. It’s only on iPhone IOS devices now but I hear android is soon to follow. Communitysprint.com/app
Have you heard about DayToDay Training?
“DayToday Training is an App (ANDROID) for Sportive related TRAINERS. Personal Trainers, professional sports trainers, small gyms and training centers. Manage your athletes’ workout routines and performance (Physical Evaluation).”

If you don’t have a Smartphone you can also print out, track by pen, and then enter the stats online when you’re back home.
