I am looking for apps for the iPod touch to track my personal training clients’ progress. It would be nice to just carry around my iPod rather than a file folder & clipboard. I am NOT looking for apps that I would recommend to clients to keep track of their own progress/workouts. Any thoughts? Thank you.
I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 7 years and I have always used a clipboard, my phone’s calendar, gympro timer and lot’s of forms. I use to have stacks of programs and assessments at my home gym and I have to say that it was a big hassle to manage all of my clients. One of the new trainers at my gym showed me the training notebook on his iPad mini and I was blown away that all he needed was an iPad to manage all of his clients.
I’ve been using the training notebook for over a year now and have not looked back. I back up my iPad once a week just incase I brake or lose it and that’s it! no more stacks of programs or looking for my timer, everything is all in one place.
