apps for personal trainers to track clients weight and body measurements
My colleague recently showed me┬áhttp://www.fitsw.com┬áto help me manage my training business. I like it because it’s FREE and has a lot of features to help with managing client progress (cool graphs!), and a lot of features to manage workouts, diet etc. I can even integrate workout demo’s into the workouts for my clients. I’d give you more description of other cool features I use but I need to head over to the grocery store.┬á
The one thing they could work on is the look (not a fan of their colors) but I’m able to get past it with all the features and its ability to increase my efficiency and allow me to manage more clients easily.
My name is Leighton Sjoren, and I am the creator of Personal Trainer’s Tool. I created the app (for iPhone) to do pretty much exactly what you’re describing. Check it out at http://www.techknowsfit.com/apps/personal-trainers-tool/
Hope its a help to you!
I’d love to hear what you think about http://www.gympro.com – we’re just about to release an iphone and android app too.
Hi Cottrell,
I use the Training Notebook for client assessments and tracking. After you do the first one, you can add on to the assessment page (and just add the measurements you would like).
It is somewhat limited, and I’m not sure if it will put them into a chart as you would like, though.
Otherwise, you could just make your own as the others have already mentioned.

I agree with Karin. Create your own tracking tool. Excel is a great resource. Or just create a format that works for you in giving the tracking data that you want to follow up on. There aren’t that many variables. Just be sure that you create a way to objectively observe changes over time.
Take care.
