See previous answer to your previous question. But I do believe that I did see a company that does sell original artist fitness music. Of course, none of it was the most popular or recent. I believe that is due to the fact that music companies do not license the most popular or recent music to anyone. I think I was searching “original artist fitness music”. It has been a long time since I was looking for this type of music just like you are now.
I second Nancy’s suggestion of www.32mix.com. Love this music! You will find mixes that cross different styles of music. For example, the latest mix will have a list of current songs on it–and you choose the “undertone” of that mix. If you want more techno, you would choose one version. If you want more pop, you would choose a different version of that mix. It’s set up really well–and the music selections sound great and always makes my classes rock.
One of my favorites, too.
As Christine suggested I mostly make my own mixes with Mixmeister. I enjoy doing it, and it is very easy. Another source I also use is http://instructormusic.com/. They have mixes using the original artist, including new and old music. You can choose the BPM and buy the CD or download the mix. I often mix their mixes with my own music since my taste runs more to alternative artists, but I like to play popular music as well.
You will find that a lot, but here are a few ideas–some sound better than others:
–Cardiomixes.com (this one is great for interval/timed workouts as well and the vocals are pretty good)
Also, if you want to create your own workout playlist, you can create them using Mixmeister. Try mixmeister.com
Hope these help.
