I have been using kettlebells for many years and teaching kettlebells is not a difficult task for me. I use them for my own benefit as well as training my clients. Throughout the years I learned the correct moves and technique from various kettlebell masters and coaches and then practice made it even better. There is a lot of new research on kettlebells out there and if you understand the basic principles of kettlebell training, it’s not hard to pass it on to the client in a safe way.
Learning on your own leads to lots of issues. Learning from someone who has no clue will do the same. Too many YouTube vids out there with people complimenting idjits on form that truly is horrible. Yes, I learned from someone and I don’t let my students even pick up a kb until they can show me they’ve got good form and aren’t going to hurt themselves or others.
