The most simple antioxidant – vitamin C and vitamin E.But using them a little bit tricky .Vitamin C You have to eat every 3 hours – it is not accumulating in Your body.With vitamin E You have to be very cautious.The best way – using olive oil,eating avocado and olives.

There was a study withing the last couple of years that showed that antioxidants do nothing. You would have to search for it, I don’t remember when or where I saw it. It was a valid study model. I still take them though…just in case.

Antioxidants help to attenuate free radical production after exercise sessions but there overall impact on health has been controversial. Long term evidence indicates that they have no effect while others indicate that they do. I have read that free radicals have a negative effect on nitric oxide (vasodilationof blood vessels) which results in increased blood pressure. So I would ponder that antioxidants have an indirect effect on blood pressure since they help dissipate free radical production.
