I agree with Karen. Connect with your participants and be yourself. If you know your stuff, but are just needing to get some teaching experience under your belt, your personality and concern for the participants with get you over the hump. I might also suggest that you keep it simple and stick with what you know or are most comfortable with. Don’t feel like you have to knock their socks off just to get them to like you. Most participants are happy to support you in your journey. The fact that you even put the question out there, shows that you care. I am sure you will do a great job!
