Does anyone know the current law for having a AED on site for Personal Trainers that work out of the home.

Hello Patty,
I do not know of any “law” based on your question. If you’re AED certified, I would’nt see any harm to have one available on site.
Better to have one and not need it, than to need one and not have it…

When in doubt, contact your attorney.

Patty,
this depends on your state and their laws.
Here in MD we don’t have to have one at the trainers home but facilities up from a certain size need to have one.

Depending on the law, if you or any other trainer who is AED certified and provides training from their own home, it would be best to have an AED available as well. Just like CPR, it serves the same purpose.
