unless you have a need for high resolution, top quality photographs that can be enlarged, I find that even pictures taken with my iPhone often are quite adequate. I have also used pictures that I did from stills of my video camera.
Unless you can do this on your own as Karin suggested, you could find a professional photographer who might be willing to barter services with you. You can both be each other’s testimonials as well and if you don’t know anyone personally usually networking groups are a great place to find one.
You can use just about anything to take good pictures these days – phones, I pads, digital camera – whatever. Unless you’re making a billboard and need real high resolution, all these devices are more than adequate for what you’re looking for. To me, the key to good pictures is having the right editing software – which comes standard on most computers. It’s amazing what these programs can do – even I figured it out! Most digital cameras come with this software that you just load – it’s a snap. Also, there’s no reason to buy a high dollar digital camera – I still use the same 5 megapixel camera that I’ve had for years and it still does the job. Save your money for other things!
