Advice for Newcomers
Know and understand your strengths and weaknesses (i.e. likes vs. dislikes).
Run with your passion of teaching, coaching, and believing in how your strength fields (i.e. resistance training, spinning, pilates, yoga, etc.) can change or enhance someone’s life since you have already experienced this personally.
Then educate and involve yourself in those other elusive sports or training methods to expand your proficiency and understanding that “different sports can appeal to different sorts”.
1. Be professional 100% of the time.
2. Find a few “guru’s” or veteran trainers and learn from them. You will like a lot of what they do but only you can make yourself the trainer you are. Don’t train like someone else, learn about your clients needs and wants, and train them your way. The way that you know works!
