Additional revenue streams not mlm ( no offense )
I am an in home personal trainer and have struggled with ways of creating additional revenue streams. I am trying affiliate marketing and just completed a nutrition course I would like to use. Has anyone had success in incorporating other income streams? Also, I don’t want to trade time for money and I would like to avoid mlm.
I’m also a mobile trainer and other than in-home clients I also provided training at the corporate setting and also created many bootcamp classes. Visiting clients at their home is always a great way to make money, but if you want to make more per hour and expand your options then branching out to corporate fitness and bootcamps can be very lucrative for you. Another option would be to provide Skype training either to 1-on-1clients or to groups.
Hey Michael-
I think a great way for fitness professionals to open up new revenue streams is by adopting innovative technologies that you can integrate into your practice. There are a lot of amazing technologies out their that range from gym equipment to software solutions. Of course gym equipment comes at such a high cost so it will take time to recoup and you can’t exactly move equipment around if you are an on-site trainer. I think your best bet is to look at mobile software technology that could help you train your clients. It’s a fast growing area. For example check this out (disclaimer I am the founder of this company!): http://oneaura.com/private-beta-request/fitness. This is an example of what I am talking about. Adding a product or service like this can give you a reason to charge the client more. Anyways i’m always more than happy to talk if you’d like. Best of luck!
