A female client of mine has a male physique, tall with no curves, what exercises can make her more womanly and curvy?

This is a very odd question – I have not heard of making someone more womanly. Why dont you focus on training her toward her goals. Physique has a lot to do with genetics and is hereditary – therefore you cannot manipulate a skeletal structure that is broad. Do what you can and encourage them toward their goals!

I am not sure what you are referring to when you say she has a “male physique.”

I am familiar with different body types–mesomorph, endormorph and ectomorph.

It sounds that she is an ectomporph. And she is that way genetically. Not much you can do about changing the shape of her body.

None. She is who she is. Focus more on helping her develope tangible goals and trust me, being of the male gender, a woman carries herself like one, looks like one.

Did she actually say she wanted to be more “womanly and curvy”? If so, get her to define what exactly she means.

Still, as others have noted, there’s nothing anybody can do to change her body type. Ideally, she (and you) would place more emphasis on what she likes, her strengths, and build on that.

Does she have any other goals? (cardiovascular, muscular, flexibility, for instance). Maybe focus on those…

Best wishes.

you might want to do some root cause analysis…why…why…why…how would that make you feel? Find out what exactly what she wants.

while you can’t change her genetic makeup you can however sculpt her body.

Work the Glutes-deadlifts, squats, RDL’s, glute bridges, etc..gives the bottom of an hour glass look

work on pulllups.. a develped back gives the top of an hour glass look.

up the calories if she is too lean to help with the curves.

Find out if a curvy hour glass is what she wants then do some body sculpting. Don’t worry about getting too big it is very difficult to “bulk” a female up even with the best gentics.
