5 Tools Clubs & Studios Should Be Using on Facebook

Facebook is one of the largest online social networking sites, with over 1.11 billion users, making it the platform of choice to reach consumers. With 71% of online adults using Facebook and 63% of those users logging on at least once a day, Facebook provides a great resource for clubs to reach current and potential members and clients.

Clubs and studios can also use social media to not only reach members, but to expand their expertise and bring credible information to their network. Expand your online presences and make your Facebook page the go-to place for fitness information with these tools.

1. Canva

This free site allows users to easily design and customize different online elements. Clubs can make their Facebook pages visually appealing with hundreds of backgrounds, graphics, fonts and images. Canva’s easy drag and drop tool makes designing easy. Users can also edit their photos to present a consistent look and feel on their page.

“Creating nice-looking images for social media is a must if you want to look professional and catch people’s attention,” IDEA presenter and social media consultant Amanda Vogel, MA says.

2. Recite This

Share your favorite inspirational quotes and give your clients the motivation they need with eye-catching customized posts. This tool allows you to make any quote visually appealing by adding a background image and changing the font type and color. Choose from Recite This’s extensive background gallery to make your quote really pop.

3. PicMonkey

Similar to Canva, this site allows you to easily edit and design photos and images. You can use filters to soften and boost your images and even to create your own photo collages. Choose from holiday themes, get access to free clip art and more.

“Canva and PicMonkey make it possible for people who don’t have a lot of graphic design experience to create everything from elegant quote cards to full presentations and webinars, very inexpensively or often, at no cost,” IDEA Inspired Advisor Katy Widrick says.

4. Hootsuite

Easily manage all of your social networking platforms in one place with Hootsuite. This inclusive tool allows you to schedule messages to post from different accounts at specified times, plus allows you to add multiple users to your account to make social media management easy. You can also find out how well your content is being received with this program’s in-depth social media analytics.

“Hootsuite is invaluable for managing multiple social media accounts and platforms and for pre-scheduling content. I have my Hootsuite dashboard open on my computer all day, every day,” Vogel says.

5. IDEAfit Social Poster
