Alright, If your an instructor you may feel me on this one, if not just hear me out. You ever have a prospect/client that had a selective idea of what being “FIT” is? I do believe to some extent its all relative but, visually what is presented as Healthy & being Fit here in the states is subjective at best & can be damaging to general public perception...

So my friend Nabbers came all bright eyed and eager to kick the s#!t outta some fat and position herself to learn for longer term success. Reluctant, hesitant & any other words I could slam in 4 drama she gave me those (hell no) looks when I wanted to work on her “physical-mental limitations.” I am around different people all the time, their families and friends, people are very quick to overlook or accept medicating to achieve a “personal normal.” I don't believe anything excessive but, Nabbers too HAD her pills she also took daily since...

So the first three weeks roll by & finally got the ball rolling with some quality work effort. Big steps for her working with medical & physical complications and the fact I like to have people see themselves performing demanding actions, benefiting from mental relaxation and physical persistence. Weeks five & six we noticed her bodies adaptation, she trusted and followed along as we pushed for more demanding but quality work product.

By the end of week eight my friend gave me some news that I felt compelled to ink to paper (ha, modern world, computerized). She had just seen her doctor and has now been relieved of those regulatory meds., enjoys a new confidence in her physical well being and is building habits to keep her productive and learning how to keep her wellness beneficial, challenging, fun & if not @ least interesting.

Sometimes an individual never really appreciates a thing 'cause it wasn't our burden to carry. Well rest assured when you been trodden the same path with the same result, then come to a fork in the road, make a decision and not far out start to get relief, you WILL notice and appreciate the improvement...

If you are willing to fight for yourself you will reap a great reward. Be mindful, ALL things do not happen in “our time,” but persistence rewards diligence. What you take into your consciousness from all sources will shape your health & fitness or wellness reality.
