I'm writing to tell you of my delight with one of your Fitness Trainers, Darlene Thurm.
Darlene devoted herself to me and made me see the results I could attain if I set my mind to it. When I first started with Darlene and your fitness club, she wanted me to walk on the treadmill and get my heart rate up to my target heart rate (130-150). She stayed with me the first time I did cardio and encouraged me to try to get my heart rate up. Being that I was a heavy smoker back then, I thought I was going to die on that treadmill when my heart rate got up to 95. I kept insisting to Darlene that there was no way I would ever be able to do this. But, Darlene with so much compassion, stayed with me and gave me confidence in myself, and eventually as time went on we got to the target goal. I can now walk at an incline of 15 and a speed of 4.5. Wow! What can I say about how much healthier my heart and lungs must be!
