"I pursued the KB class for both personal and professional reasons. I wanted to integrate it into my current workout routine of spinning, boot camps, weight lifting, yoga, and Pilates. Professionally, I am a certified athletic trainer at UC Davis as well as with the USA Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey Team. I like to incorporate functional rehab into the post-injury/surgical rehabilitation programs I design for the athletes. Essentially, this has been a 10-hour continuing educational seminar for me. I can immediately apply what I have learned in the KB class to the athletes’ rehabilitation plan.
I have noticed positive results in my fitness, strength, speed, power, endurance, and balance over the past 5 weeks. This is an excellent class with a tangible learning curve– you see and feel progress each week. Doug is an outstanding and knowledgeable instructor. It is quite evident that he has a passion for KB training and its’ accompanying overall benefits. He combines the teaching component with functional workouts and always offers additional “coaching” outside of the allotted class hours. He tailors the class to meet the needs of everyone. The one-on-one instruction you receive is invaluable. I would highly recommend this class to anyone that is seeking a challenging and whole body workout."
