I love that quote and it's now my mantra!
When you decide to make changes in your life...you will! I struggled with weight on and off for years. I did all of the wrong things with pills, drinks, fad diets and everything else under the sun. When I did approach weight loss the right way through good dietary changes and exercise it was always temporary, when I reached my goal I reverted back to old ways.
Then one day I decided that enough was enough! I was DONE with the ups and downs, done with the half hearted measures full of wishful thinking! I needed to be better than that! I needed to change! I needed to go back to what I knew worked only this time making it a LIFESTYLE. No more temporary measures, but real change! That's when MY journey began and I haven't looked back once! Do I still struggle at times? Yes, I am human, I'm not perfect and I'm OK with that...I have to be because life is just too short to have regrets.
My journey to personal training began two years ago when I decided to go back to school. I wanted to gain more knowledge so that I could go from helping myself to helping others achieve their goals.
It was about that same time that I also took up running. I couldn't run more than a few blocks, but with training I was soon completing 5k's, 8k's, 10k's and my first half marathon. I love to workout, I love to train because a great workout boosts mood, lifts depression and clears the mind!
It is my goal to help others see their own potential through proper daily diet and training. Moving one person at a time closer to a healthier and happier life!
