Jill's Success Story
My name is Jill Peters, and I am writing with regard to Blair Rockoff. I am a member of the West Loop Athletic Club where Blair has been my personal trainer for the past four months, and I couldn’t be more pleased!
I love having her as my trainer because she’s not just concerned about my work-out that one day a week, but the whole package. We started off training for the entire hour, but very quickly Blair realized that my problem had more to do with my diet than my gym habits. She altered the program to best suit my needs. She taught me how to make better food choices, check my portion sizes, how to deal with eating out, recipes, new ideas of what to eat, and even a new place and way to shop! Each week she goes over my food journal with me offering suggestions, and then we work out (very intensely)!
Since I was sixteen I have done everything under the sun to lose weight, and I’ve always hated it and I could never stick with it. I was always discouraged from a lack of results, I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. I think part of the problem was that I never had a program or one single person who concentrated on my food AND my work- outs- it was always one or the other. It never seemed to be about what worked for me personally in my life, it was more generic. For the first time in my life I’m enjoying eating healthy because I have new ideas and new options. I finally enjoy working out because I’m seeing results. Since December, I’ve lost 13 pounds and 10 inches all total!
When I first met Blair I was skeptical that she would be able to help me because nothing has ever worked for me before, and I’m amazed at her ability to really adjust my program to fit my needs. She has an incredible knowledge of health and nutrition and has incorporated all of this together in a way that makes me feel and look good! She has made a remarkable impact on my life and my health. She has given me a plan that is reasonable and that I can stick with. I’m in awe of how much I’ve learned and changed in such a short time. I look forward to working with her more in the future. She has so many great ideas and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
