My first two years of college were definitely not healthy! I didn't drink alcohol, but my constant snacking and lack of nutritional knowledge was adding up... Fast! Combine that with a primarily sedentary lifestyle (studying at a desk all day) and you get a recipe for disaster. I quickly gained the "freshman 15" and struggled with it for almost 2 years. Then I decided it was time to make a change! I studied nutrition, fitness, and everything in between. Once I had the tools to change, putting them into action was so easy! I learned how to turn my body into a fat burning machine and stay lean, forever! I lost a total of 14% body fat and 16 pounds, the healthy way.
