Sharla's Success Story
I have been overweight my entire life. I successfully lost weight a couple times and gained the weight back. When I met Caroline I was active, yet at the heaviest weight of my life. I had read about different exercise methods but always thought a trainer would really help, if I could find the right one. My mom and I took Caroline’s spinning class, and something told me that she would be the one to help us (maybe it was her superbuff arms).
I would say that my true goal when I started with Caroline would be to take back some control over myself. I had been trying to lose weight for so long with only minor success. I had essentially given up. Caroline’s common sense (and no nonsense) attitude, as well as her caring, attentive nature helped me do just that. Her training regimen made me stronger through a combination of strength training, cardio and interval work outs. She gave me the tools to succeed even while I was out of the country for four months.
I lost about 30 pounds while out of the country (thanks to Caroline’s guidance) and was in a wedding about 5 weeks after I returned home. I told Caroline right away that I wanted to get working on buff arms for the wedding and she was all for it. Honestly, I didn’t think it would be possible to make as much progress as I did in such a short amount of time, but I think the picture says it all.
Caroline is not just a personal trainer, but an inspiration to healthy living. She has become a true friend to me. I had essentially given up on losing weight and having the healthy body that I so desired. I still have more weight to lose, but I am confident that I will get where I want to be thanks to Caroline’s excellent guidance – both physically and mentally. She has truly been an inspiration.
