I started Pilates over 5 years ago after having surgery for a herniated disc. I chose Pilates because research showed that Pilates can successfully strengthen the muscles in my core and improve my posture. I still have 2 herniated discs and am pain free. My husband and my two girls also participate in Kathi's Pilates classes.
