Not Every Exercise is for Every Body

Celeste's Success Story

At the age of 13 I was diagnosed with severe scoliosis and required to wear a back brace and sleep in traction for six years. As a result, all my life, finding an exercise routine that challenged me, kept me fit and yet was modifiable for my physical issues has been almost impossible. That was until I found Tiffany as my bootcamp instructor and then personal trainer.

Tiffany’s approach is the perfect combination of pushing me to do my best while being smart about what exercises could be detrimental to me. In bootcamp, when modifications were made, I never felt ashamed I couldn’t do what the rest of the group might be doing. She thought all of us to leave our egos behind and to have one goal of reaching for our most healthy fitness level. Participating with us, modeling new exercises, keeping humor in the room are just some of the reasons why I WANTED to get up and go to 6:00 am bootcamp.

I liked Tiffany so much I became one of her personal training clients. The benefits were incredible. I would say my time with Tiffany was one of my fitness peaks. And in spite of my many spine related issues, I felt stronger, more flexible and more accepting of the body I was given.

Tiffany is not only a great fitness instructor. She is a great teacher. She was constantly telling us the why behind the exercises we did, the benefits, the reasons they were done in a particular way. The group often received emails with articles on fitness, diet, wellness. Tiffany was constantly looking to inspire and challenge. Along with being very qualified and excellent at her job, she is kind, engaging and fun.
