Mike's Success Story
Wanted to write and say thanks for all of the encouragement and planning over the past couple of months.
As you know, I was at the wedding in Scottsdale this weekend. These were the same guys who I saw at the bachelor party in the middle of September. People couldn't stop talking about how much thinner I now look.
When I was targeting losing over 30 lbs in a couple of months (from the 216.5 to 185), I knew it was an ambitious goal and wouldn't be easy. In fact, I was quite surprised by your confidence that we'd be able to accomplish it.
Your encouragement and support, and the nutrition and training plan, have all worked so well together. Although we're technically a few lbs shy of the 185 goal, I have to honestly tell you that I am happier here at 192, with the added muscle and strength, than how I expected to look and feel at 185. Upon reflection, I really respect you for not just chasing that number, but working holisticly on the overall health and fitness.
Although it hasn't always been easy, you have given me the tools to make small changes to improve my diet and nutrition, wherever work takes me. I travel with a bag of almonds. I pick hotels with fitness centers or do exercises in my hotel room.
With all the travel this month, I know the training schedule has gotten a bit chaotic. Fortunately I've been able to maintain enough of a routine, and apply the nutrition plan, to have kept the progress on and the pounds off. I'm really looking forward to stepping up the training intensity and frequency again in December. The 185 is in our cross hairs, but honestly it is much more than that number that I am excited for. I am starting to really like the way I look and feel, and am so encouraged by the result, because I know it will just keep getting better and that the hard work is paying off.
Sorry for the long way of saying "thanks", but I wanted to let you know I appreciate it.
See you Thursday.
