's Success Story
Back in January of 2007, I was unhappy; about my weight and how I looked. I decided to make a change! On January 31st, I got weighed in for the first time; 301 lbs! I don't know if that's the heaviest I've ever been because I stopped weighing myself a long time ago. I started eating healthy and exercising 5 to 6 days a week. By the summer I had lost 40 lbs. and had starting training with weights. But I didn't know what I was doing and I stalled. That's when I met Sybil.
Getting healthy was the best decision I ever made, but getting a personal trainer was the 2nd best decision! Sybil knows my body and how to train me most effectively. Having someone tell you what to do and how to do it makes it easier because you don't have to think about it yourself! And her knowledge makes me feel safe. I know I won't get hurt. Also, I don't think I would have ever pushed myself as hard without someone there to push me.
Life has improved beyond measure. I have more energy. I sleep better than I have in years! I don't get out of breath when I go upstairs, and I even sometimes take those stairs at a run! I'm no longer afraid of not fitting in an airplane seat or have the rollercoaster operator ask me to move to the row with seatbelt extenders! I can actually go to an amusement park and have my 8 year old daughter ask ME to slow down! And I can't even put into words how much fun shopping has become! I honestly feel that having a trainer has helped me to achieve so many of those things. It was the missing piece in my weight loss!
The best part of having a trainer is that I know I have support. Sybil is beside me with encouragement and behind me to push when I need it! It's the best investment I made all year.
