I first met John Chase during the Bolingbrook Park District Biggest Loser Challenge in the winter of 2009. He was my team’s coach, giving encouragement, challenges, nutritional advice, etc. in a gentle, but effective manner.
I hired him as a personal trainer in late September. After 10 sessions, I am signing up for another ten. I am impressed with my improvement in body fitness. I am not a runner, but I not only finished 3 5K’s, but successively shaved off time from each preceding month’s run. I placed 2nd, 7th, and 4th in my age group. I owe those accomplishments to John for training me to improve my strength and resistance. I swim daily and noticed I use more powerful and effective strokes. I recently resumed Jazzercise exercise classes which I hadn’t done for 1 1/2 years. I no longer “powderpuff”, but make my moves with control and precision. I bike ride often. I use more strenuous gears now that I have increased my stamina.
