Denise K's Success Story
My client has done very well with her new fitness life-style / life plan- it was a big change for her after having the lap band and years of being obese and not exercising. She came to me for Pilates after a few weeks of swimming daily and doing a small amount of weight training 3 x a week and wanted to develop her core, improve her posture, stretch and strengthen from within. I told her that Pilates will help her and give her that 'internal workout" she desires and I want to help her be successful. We worked out for 6 weeks 3 x a day with great strength, control and improved quality moves. I added in jumpboard for a cardio blast. I used the Caddie, reformer and chair to insure she was properly performing each move based on her body shape and size and it resulted in great control and form. She shared with me how peaceful and balanced she felt after doing pilates and she regulargly finds herself pulling in her abs when she starts to slouch in the chair. I trained Denise on my own time and to help her feel her best mentally, emotionaly and seeing her body change in every way was priceless.... it was a great experience and challenge for me as a Pilates Instructor to work with someone who is (was) obese and new to exercise. In my journey to becoming a Pilates instructor, I practiced training "fit" people and who had a background of sports.. Training Denise helped me to become even more passionate about teaching and knowing that anyone and any BODY can do Pilates and I got to experience that. Thank you Denise... Keep it up Girl!
