Aaron's Success Story
The personal training program at Fitness Together has taught me what I need to know to lose weight and keep it off. I have lost 50 pounds so far and I feel like I am able to do 10 times more than I used to do! I could barely run a 14 minute mile when I started training, but now I can do a 9 1/2 minute mile.
My attitude towards exercise has changed dramatically. I used to avoid working out at all costs. Now, I even sometimes look forward to it. I had never been able to stick to any kind of exercise routine. I always just stopped for no reason. Now, I work out regularly 3 times a week. Whenever I went to the gym on my own, I would do some exercises, get tired and see no results at all. Now, working with my personal trainer at Fitness Together, I workout, get tired, but DO see the results. I think this is because I have learned how to do the exercises properly and with good form.
I’ve also learned that I can do things that I thought I could never do before, and that if I want something and I work hard enough I can achieve it. I did not think losing 45 pounds was possible when I started. But with a healthy diet and enough determination, I was able to work hard and reach my initial goal weight. Now, I would like to lose 10 more pounds and gain some muscle and learn how to stay fit for the rest of my life.
I know that having a personal trainer made all the difference for me. The trainers at Fitness Together are knowledgeable, experienced and know what they are doing. They know hundreds of exercises for each piece of equipment. The workouts are always different and never the same, so I never get bored with the exercises. Without my personal trainer making sure I had good form and did the exercise correctly, I would not have gotten my good results
